A native of Mobile, Sabrina has more than nineteen years of experience in strategic communications. She started as a Marketing Director in the healthcare industry in 2006 and then became a “SoloPReneur” in 2014. She leads Proxi’s unique, collaborative team of communication professionals specializing in graphic design, social media, crisis communication, event planning, video production, digital advertising and web design services. She studied business and marketing at the University of South Alabama and earned her accreditation in Public Relations in 2015.
Sabrina is known as a chronic volunteer and commits her time and talents to many local, non-profit agencies and fundraising events.
Sabrina is a social media addict, cruise director, PR wrangler, people pleaser and digital savvy mom of three boys. James, her husband of 24 years, is determined to be the last man standing without a single social media profile. He is the ying to her social media yang. They enjoy traveling, snorkeling and all things Mardi Gras.
Shellie Teague is a Gulf Coast native, having grown up on the Eastern Shore and lived in Mobile since 2011. She attended college at Troy University and finished her degree in Communications – Public Relations at the University of South Alabama.
She’s been in the public relations field since 2013, working at a national photo backdrop company before venturing out on her own as a solo public relations consultant. She took a position as the Executive Director of the Mobile Arts Council from 2017-2019, during which time her public relations work was recognized with four awards from the Public Relations Council of Alabama and the Southern Public Relations Federation.
She returned to agency life in 2019 when she joined Sabrina Alexander, APR. It’s been a perfect fit ever since.
When she’s not strategizing for clients, Shellie enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and the #tinyteagues: Josie, Carson, Knox, and Sadie Byrd.
